I realise it's the end of the school year at Highlands, but I pay taxes so the teachers can teach my children. I also understand it's next to impossible to contain the kids' excitement and the teachers use videos as part of the classroom experience to sneak in a lesson of sorts. Our taxes are paying the salaries of said teachers. So why is it that I'm forced to pay teachers to sit and play games on their computers while the kids are otherwise occupied watching a video? I sure wish MY employer would pay me to sit and play games while nearly ignoring my duties!
I believe people who receive part of my paycheck in the form of welfare checks should be required to take a drug test before they receive that check. Plus drive around folks; look at the condition of our roads. With all them people on welfare can you imagine how clean it would be if they were to “hit the road” sort of speak to earn that money.
